Where can I find cheap vinyl records in Sydney (new or second hand)? How much do they cost generally for both the old and new? Thanks.
Please. No more questions unless it is about chemistry.
why exactly do people still buy vinyl records? is the sound quality better on vinyl records? i really like the distortion some vinyls put out like the crack and popping, do new vinyls make that same noise?
The other answers are nonsensical. The reason some still buy and listen to vinyl records, is due to warm sound and sound impurities that cannot be translated into digital format. Only a needle on vinyl can produce some of the crackling and warmth that these enthusiasts seem to be nostalgic about. It is very much comparable to people who still shoot photos with film cameras, even though the DSLR technology has now surpassed film photo quality.
I have came upon a crate of records, including a couple Frank Sinatra, Liberace, Jimmy Swagart, A Bio of Jackqueline Kennedy, and many others. they are in really good condition – opened, but plastic still on, some with original price stickers on them – "on sale $1.34 – originally $4.58" or whatever the exact price is. If you need the exact album names and such – let me know. I’m just wondering if they are worth anything.
some vinyl records with mint sleeves are worth a lot of money
Where can I go to find the value of old records?
Author: admin // Category: old vinyl recordsI found about 50 old vinyl records. Ranging from Elvis, Sonny and Cher Live, to Disneyland stories on record. Is there anywhere I can go to find a value of any of these? Im not trying to break the bank but im sure there are people out there that would appreciate it a lot more than myself.
I have been on Ebay and could only find about 1/3 of them on there

How to convert Vinyl to MP3 (without buying a new record player)?
Author: admin // Category: new vinyl recordsI know some record players can convert Vinyl to MP3, but mine does not. Is there any other way to convert records to MP3?
it depends on the connections of you record player. you would probably need to take the output of the record player and record that into some software on your computer, then convert it to MP3 from there.
How do I find out what year my vinyl records are from?
Author: admin // Category: find vinyl recordsI just recently got a few records, and I was trying to find out how old they are, but I can’t find a date on the record or the cover. Is there a specific thing I could look for that would tell me how old it is?
Wierd, All of mine have a copyright date on the back cover, many also have it on the record itself…maybe you could just look up the discography of each band.
What is it all about? I see them everywhere now.
180 g is supposed to be the highest quality vinyl. Well a 45rpm 180g technically. Also, they’re thicker so they’re less prone to warp over time.
How much did vinyl records cost in the 70’s and 80’s when they were new?
Author: admin // Category: vinyl recordsI just collect a lot of vintage records and was wondering how much the average 12 inch vinyl cost back when they came out. Thanks!
I think records came out in the 40’s but in the 70’s and 80’s I paid around $10.00 for them. Once in a while you could get them on sale for $5.00 or $2.00.
