No, I have nowhere to play them and wouldn’t even know where to buy them.

like ones of Bob Marley, or Elvis
There is a tatty old market stall on Piazza dei Ciompi, that sells all sorts of old junk, furniture, and books. I don not recall seeing a record stall, but it might be worth checking out.
I was having a stroll around Florence in google street view and came across http://www.rockbottom.it
It gives the address as Via degli Alfani 34/r (rosso)
not online, not new copies
There is usually lots of vinyl at car boot sales, the’re the cheapest
i am 15 i just got a record player and i need some records because the only ones i have are scratched i currently live in tucson arizona any sources would be helpful thank you.
The best site on the internet, better than Ebay even, is www.gemm.com . GEMM is great. It’s been around longer than Ebay (can you believe it!) and they give you a better guarantee of your money than Ebay. There are thousands of sellers on GEMM, millions of listings. If you can’t find it there fugheddaboutit!
Acoustic Sounds, Dusty Groove, Music Direct, Amazon, Craig Moerer Records by Mail, and Sound Stage Direct.
im trying to find more records but im not sure were to start. i know urban outfitters sells a few. but thats too expensive for what im looking for.
underground music stores in hollywood or websites?
Try a used cd shop. Some have a used vinyl section and you can probably find some good new titles – I just purchased some Minus the Bear and MGMT 45’s from my local "hot dog and record" store. Also, antique shops sometimes have boxes of records for sale. Of course, these aren’t going to be modern music, but you can find some pretty good scores.
Try thrift shops, pawn shops, or flea markets for either.
You can also check used record/book stores for records. Where I am, it is not unusual for there to be a 2 in 1 used recorder/book store.
I’m a 15 year old musician with a great respect for music, and would like to hear the magic of a good vinyl LP. Where can I buy vinyl records, particularly new ones?
I’ve heard that a lot of modern bands and artists release their music in LP format along with CD format, so where can I get these LPs? For example, if I wanted a John Mayer record in vinyl, where could I get one?
Aside from the actual artist’s sites, when I’m looking for music, Amazon has been good to me. They usually have good deals on older used items as well. Be prepared to pay more for the vinyl though for the newer stuff (from what I’ve seen).
i want the website to have a lot of records on it.

why exactly do people still buy vinyl records? is the sound quality better on vinyl records? i really like the distortion some vinyls put out like the crack and popping, do new vinyls make that same noise?
The other answers are nonsensical. The reason some still buy and listen to vinyl records, is due to warm sound and sound impurities that cannot be translated into digital format. Only a needle on vinyl can produce some of the crackling and warmth that these enthusiasts seem to be nostalgic about. It is very much comparable to people who still shoot photos with film cameras, even though the DSLR technology has now surpassed film photo quality.
