I collect vinyl records and I would like to know if there are any good places to buy vinyl records in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area of BC

years ago there is a store in plaza fare in makati that sells vinyl records… i just wasn’t sure if it still open today…
I’m really fascinated with speeches, and I think it would be interesting to own speeches on vinyl records but I don’t know how to get this collection started. I would want to get records of speeches from people like, John F Kennedy, Winston Churchill, mussolin, Stalin, Martin luther king, hitler…really any political figure or any notorious person. Any help on where I can find these and what it may cost to buy them is appreciated. Thanks
I would try ebay, you should be able to get them cheap. If you have a mp3 player, I know there are ebay stores that sell great speeches on cd. I’ve purchased Winston Churchill speeches on cd.
Those are really cheap.
Also, if you have an iPod, you could download Itunes and find podcasts with speeches. That would be free. You could even download them to your computer to listen to if you don’t have an iPod.
I have tried amazon but I feel that the prices aren’t correct. I don’t want to use ebay either.

I live in Palm Beach Florida and recently bought a record player. I’m dying to buy more and more records, but you have to be really lucky to find good LPs in most thrift stores. Does anyone know of a good place I can find some? Maybe even online? Thanks!
I know Hot Topic sells them, it just all depends on what music you’re into. If you have a Hot Topic store near you, you might be able to find some good ones there. Try around antique shops as well, I’ve seen shelves full of them at some antique stores I’ve been to. Hope this helped!

Preferably some where local within colorado springs or denver areas but online will do aslong as its not too pricey. Ive looked on amazon but many are (unavailable) also any place that can order them would be ok aswell. Id like to stay away from ebay as much as possible but if thats my only option then….
The one problem with Andre (ATB) is that he is signed to a German producing company (Kontor) which makes his vinyl hard to find. You will find many here,

I have a bunch of vynly’s that I found in storage. Many of them are shrink wrapped,but how can I find out if there reprints or originals?
Go to Discogs, – all the different versions should be listed there, with pictures, hopefully.
I just recently got a few records, and I was trying to find out how old they are, but I can’t find a date on the record or the cover. Is there a specific thing I could look for that would tell me how old it is?
Wierd, All of mine have a copyright date on the back cover, many also have it on the record itself…maybe you could just look up the discography of each band.
